Custom Cooperstown Pins

Cooperstown, NY plays host to one of the year's largest, longest and most exciting baseball world series tournaments. A big part of the Cooperstown experience is pin trading and we make custom Cooperstown pins for thousands of teams! At Cooperstown pins are traded with players from other teams. Siblings even get in on it, often with their own custom pins.
Which Custom Cooperstown Pins Should You Order?
Cooperstown trading pins are typically bigger and fancier than other world series trading pins. Soft enamel pins and photoscreen pins are the most popular choice for custom Cooperstown pins.
Soft enamel pins let you feel the texture of the pin design on the surface of the pin. Photoscreen pins are smooth and shiny, giving you full color and great detail. We estimate that about 90% of Cooperstown trading pins are soft enamel (sometimes called die struck with color added) and the rest are photoscreen pins (usually rushed). Soft enamel pins take longer to make, so order ASAP. Pre-season sales in Q4 & Q1 are an outstanding way to save some money and ensure your trading pins are taken care of before the mid-season rush. Compare photoscreen & soft enamel pins.
Design Matters: Creative Cooperstown Trading Pins Get Traded
At Cooperstown, the best pin isn't the one that best represents your team. It's the one other kids want. Players are looking to trade up, and every kid is hunting for the pin that makes their friends say, "Where did you get that?" A pin that gets traded often is a pin that gets your team's name seen all week.
Traditional baseball designs like a ballfield, crossed bats, or a jersey number are well made and proud of your team, but they tend to sit in the trading bag. Dreams Park and All-Star Village players see hundreds of them in a single session. The custom Cooperstown pins that get traded fast are loud, playful, and unexpected.
Design Ideas That Trade Well
- Candy and snacks: candy bars, soda cans, ice cream cones, donuts, and pizza slices
- Pop culture: movie, video game, and meme-inspired designs with a baseball twist
- Cartoon characters: your team mascot reimagined as a cartoon, or a funny original character
- Sports figures and trading cards: designs shaped like a baseball card, with your team's player on the front
- Humor and wordplay: puns on your team name, town, or mascot
- Things that move or light up: danglers, spinners, and sliders add fun, though a great design should come first
Your team name, colors, and year can still be on the pin. They just shouldn't be the whole design. Keep the name readable, then let the creativity do the trading for you.
Pair a bold concept with the right size, since an undersized pin gets passed over no matter how clever it is (see our size comparison). Browse the trading pin gallery for inspiration, then request a free design quote. Our artists will help turn your idea into a pin worth trading for.
Best Size for Cooperstown Trading Pins:
Not too small! You will thank us later for this advice. Small pins are sometimes shunned unfortunately. The average Cooperstown pin size is 2.00" to 2.50". We'd suggest no smaller than that. Be a smart designer too... be creative! And don't spend money on a dangler or blinking LED eyes for an undersized pin. Get a good size first, then if budget permits go for the extras you want. Big pins are better than small pins with bling.
How Many Cooperstown Trading Pins Do You Need?
Cooperstown trading pin orders are the largest world series trading pin orders we make. There are currently 104 teams in every Cooperstown Dreams Park session. Cooperstown Allstar Village averages about 60 teams per session. Players love to get trading pins from them all. If you have eleven players on your team, you'll need almost 1200 pins at Dreams Park. Plan accordingly and don't forget your player's siblings... they like to watch their brothers play ball, but they love trading pins too.
